Chapter 27 - Feeling Hot.

The next day dawned hot and humid. Tang Yu woke up roasting. Beads of sweat formed on her forehead, dripping down her temples. She fluttered open her eyes and found herself swaddled in quilts. Boiling in the bundle, her hands broke out of the wrap first, before pushing the quilts off her body with furrowed eyebrows.

Damn! How did she manage to make a Tang Yu roll with the quilts? She was boiling hot.

The oak door creaked open, announcing an arrival. Mu Yunsheng came inside, ducking through the doorway. He paused momentarily, looking at her.

"How are you feeling now?" He broke the silence, taking three steps into the room.

"Kind of washed-out." The words rushed out of Tang Yu's dry mouth without much thought. She should've woken up feeling rested. However, she was feeling sluggish. The day hadn't ended yet. Why did it seem like she overslept? "The sun hasn't dipped below the horizon yet, has it? It's so hot…" She said, her feet sliding into the slippers.
