When Haruki opened his eyes, he found himself in the middle of a desolate yet familiar place. Encircling a flat and carved area were a couple of rugged mountains and hills, opening up several tunnels that lead to both an underground and aboveground labyrinth. But although it resembled the manmade valley that the Chimeras took over, there was a foreign sense of chaos and violence permeating the atmosphere, as if a bloody battle had once occurred there.
But Haruki intuitively knew that the battle was long over, and it gave him an odd sense of fulfillment and satisfaction. Like a puppeteer armed with strings, everything fell into place with a subtle push and a slow pull. No one could escape his grasp - covering the world in an intricate spider web of his own doing.
