While Haruki listened to Fleming's strange and shocking request, Monad was busy confronting the Hero Raze inside the Labyrinth of Vorre. And as expected of a powerful Chimera currently under the influence of mania, even the ever-changing well-built walls of the mystical structure was no match for him.
In normal circumstances, the victims trapped inside the maze would try to figure out the right path to take. But armed with absolute strength, it was simple enough for Raze to barrel through the twelve-meter-high ramparts that divided one space from the rest, seemingly like a one-directional wrecking ball.
This posed a huge problem for Monad, who was trying to buy more time for his liege. No matter how precise his control was over the Labyrinth's interior, it would be useless if the walls couldn't keep the Chimera for long. In a matter of minutes, Raze could end up breaking through the outermost fortifications and back into the outside world.
