As Link and Coby came up from below, Link thought he was just a normal guy. He looked weak, even less strong than the younger people from their village.
Of course, he was still better than Coby, who was kind of a coward.
"Of course!"
Link smiled and stepped forward. "I told you, I'm a prop master!"
"The skills of a prop master are way beyond what people think!"
"Now, let me show you what a prop master can really do!"
With that, Link spread his hands and started to grab the air in front of him.
In the next second, a sword appeared out of nowhere. It looked like a samurai sword, with a brown-yellow handle, a green grip, and a blade that sparkled like crystal.
"Ta-da!"
Swish!
Luffy's eyes turned into shining stars as he watched.
"Wow! You pulled that out of thin air like a ninja! Is that some kind of ninja magic?!"
"Ninja magic?"
Coby was also stunned, his mouth hanging open in disbelief.
"Forget the ninja stuff! I'm a prop master!"
Link rolled his eyes and grabbed the sword.
As he held it, the blade shone brightly, glowing like the dawn in the night.
It crackled with electricity, looking dazzling and powerful.
"Behold! The famous sword, Electric Light!"
Link held the sword proudly, striking a pose that looked impressive and powerful.
"Whoa!"
Luffy clenched his fists, excited at the sight of the glowing sword.
"A famous sword?!"
Alvida was taken aback, staring at the shining weapon in Link's hands.
She remembered a legend from the East Sea and felt a shiver run down her spine.
But soon, she relaxed.
"Oh, it's just one sword. So it can't be Pirate Hunter Zoro."
"Pirate Hunter?"
Luffy was curious about this strange title.
"Kid!"
Alvida slammed her spiked club down hard.
"Just because you have a sword doesn't mean it's a famous sword!"
She glanced at the glowing sword in Link's hand, her expression serious.
"Are you using a Devil Fruit power to pull things out of nowhere?!"
"Devil Fruit?!"
Coby was shocked. "Isn't that just a legend?!"
They said these fruits could give people amazing powers but came with a curse from the sea. Because of this, they were called the Devil Fruit.
"It's not a legend; it's real."
Luffy added excitedly.
He pulled his cheek, showing how stretchy it was.
"I ate the Rubber Fruit!"
Coby was speechless.
Today was just too much for him to take in.
"A Devil Fruit? Well, I guess it could be that," Link said, thinking it over.
Since his props were from the 22nd century in "Doraemon," using the Devil Fruit to explain it made sense.
"I see!"
Alvida's eyes lit up.
"So pulling things out of thin air is your power? But that glowing toy sword doesn't seem very powerful."
Alvida was starting to get back to her senses, looking closely at Link's Electric Light. She couldn't help but laugh.
"Are you trying to scare kids with that? Hahaha!"
"Hahaha, go home and cry!"
The nearby pirates joined in, mocking and laughing loudly.
"This isn't just any toy sword!"
Link raised an eyebrow, looking serious.
"This is the famous sword, Electric Light!"
"I don't care about your Electric Light, kid. This sea isn't for playing pretend!"
Alvida laughed loudly, swinging her spiked club.
"When you come back next time, remember to bring a real sword!"
Whoosh!
A strong wind rushed by as Alvida's sharp spiked club came crashing down toward Link's head.
"Ah!"
Coby couldn't bear to watch. He quickly shut his eyes and turned away.
Luffy, however, kept his eyes wide open, calm and unfazed by the scene in front of him.
"Clash!"
The sound of their weapons meeting rang out clearly across the sea.
The laughter of the surrounding pirates suddenly stopped.
"How is this possible?!"
Alvida's pupils narrowed in shock as she exclaimed.
