Hey emma,cherry greated cheerfully .hey emma i replied,heading home? she asked still smiling happilly she couldn't wait for my answer before she could pull my hands and draged me towards our house, on reaching home we heard shouts from the living room cherry rushed in to check and i ran towards her, i saw my mother laying lifeless on our beautiful rugged floor and in the kitchen entrance i saw my dad i rushed to my dad who seemed to have a little life in him, emma he called out to me ,i knelt down and lifted his head to my laps as he spoke with the last breath in him "emma you're the chosen one" before your aunt comes to take you away run to the maple tree at the courtyard you'll find a beautiful necklace hanging above the short branch,take it and put around your neck ..it will always protect you ...cough ...cough....emma ..your mum and i will watch over you ...he said as i watch my dad breath his last breath of life ..i couldn't cry and i couldn't move i stood up and slowly walked to the courtyard .i found the necklace glowing just where my dad said it was taking the necklace and putting it around my neck i felt something strange envolve around my neck causing my whole body to heat up,this was the scene my aunt met when she came into the courtyard "emma"i heard cherry and aunty abigail voice from afar,falling towards the ground i could feel a cold grip around my arms in my head it was a blackout.
Waking up it was already night and i found out i was no longer in our house,the lights were brighter than the lights at home i couldn't hear voices of my neighbours like i usually does, i tried to get off the bed when suddenly i heard ..... emma you're finally awake it came from my cousin standing at the entrance of the door
Where am i ? i asked curiously ..you're in the hospital you've been in a coma for four years,aunt would be glad to see you awake ...before i could make meaning out of what he said i saw my aunt smiling so widely at me ...

Eat something my aunt said as he handed me a bowl of soup,you don't need to worry about anything you're safe now ,all i could do was just nod my head cause i couldn't get what she mean by "youre safe now" we'll leave the hospital this evening my aunt said as she stood up to leave the room.
