Since last week, no one has been killed by the vampire. The killings nearly led New Orleans citizens to believe they were over.
Inspector Sebastian and Officer Matthew noticed two people arguing while en route to see the eyewitness who saw James, but they ignored it since they thought it was just a small argument and continued driving until they heard two gunshots.
One of the fights killed the other and fled, but not before Officer Matthew pursued him into a hallway and was shot.
Inspector Sebastian rushed to Officer Matthew's but found him unconscious when he heard the second gunshot.
He brought the dead to the hospital in a hurry.
Inspector Sebastian left the body at the hospital and proceeded to the police station while feeling both sad and enraged at the same time.
He announced the shooting of Officer Matthew as soon as he arrived at the police station.
Everyone was dejected and perplexed.
"When we heard a gunshot while on our way to question an eyewitness, we stopped to investigate. Officer Matthew had been pursuing the assailant when he was shot in the abdomen. He is currently in the hospital; let's just hope he is okay." Sebastian, the inspector, explained
"I'll let his family know," An officer recommends
"No, I will, just give me their phone number or address." Added the Inspector
The Inspector said, "Come with me, Charles and Grayson."
The inspector led them outside of the obnoxious
Officer Matthew was ready to show me the bar where James was last seen before being shot. Charles, could you please tell me the name of the bar? Inspector questioned
Officer Matthew claimed the eye witness filed a case, but Charles remarked, "I can do better. I can look through some of his files and older cases, maybe I can find that particular case."
OK, carry it out, the inspector stated.
Officer Grayson remarked, "I can't help but assume you know more about this than you are letting out."
"Grayson, I do, but neither I nor any of us will ever really comprehend anything. Knowing the eyewitness is one step in understanding this all, so we simply have to take it gently." Inspector responded.
