Clouds sway, flowing effortlessly in the direction of the wind, guided by the force. A castle levitates above a city sitting on clouds. White is all the structure as if they were carved out of white quartz. Less of a city and more of a work of art, the castle is even more stunning.
Wings cuts from underneath, passing through the cloud was a while as big as the floating castle, its wings stretched out over the town. Multiple eyes layer the side and top of its head, a yellow horn mount on it back with three glowing rings. The beast circles the town before diving back into the clouds, not a sound was made.
Inside the castle wall, fantastic beast moves about, entities that would be pulled out of fantasy commune within the walls.
Golden talons click against the stone floor, with white and brown wing on its back, a humanoid torso covered in orange fur, and a falcon head. The collar decorated in jewels dazzle around its neck as it makes its way down the long hallways. Those who its pass by bows with respected before continuing their duties.
Its stop in front of a large white door with the carving of stars and planet, gently opening the door, it sets to the side and waits.
It stands in silence, its big round eyes taking in the room, the bed, dresser, stand, chairs, even the close. With the simple twitch of its head all came into view. Tap tap tap, a single talon taps the floor as it stands, it looks towards the bed. Taking a deep breath, the feather around its neck bunch up, pressing against the collar.
Erriiiiii, errrriiiiii! It screeches, sound funnels as it bounces off the wall's amplifying. Several bodies fly out from the bed covers, some came stumbling, breaking down the closet door. Both male and females scrabbling, the screeching stops once everyone became exposed.
The bird head turns scanning the room, everyone stood in silence, it reached up grabbing a gem from its collar. Throwing it to a far wall, it lights up creating a large hole.
It points, "if you value you're lives, leave now and never return."
No other words were said, they gathered the bits of clothing that they could find, leaving through the gate. After every one left, the hole closed, the gem returns to the collar. Something ruffles underneath the covers; it groans as the covers are toss.
With the clearing of its through, "it's time to get up young master."
A man sits up against the headboard, his hair is wild, eyes red, vain, he leans over. Vomit flings out, staining the sheets, he wipes his mouth, tiling his head squinting.
"Oh snaps, was that you Peggy," he looks around, "where did everyone go." He looks around, "who, who, bro, who threw up."
The two walks down the long hall as the man push his arm through his sleeve. Slicking his hair back, they came to a large room, a platter of meal was place Infront of him as he takes a seat at a table.
Peggy stands towards his side as he begins to eat.
He sighs, "what are you doing."
Peggy turns her head, her large eye focus on the young master.
"what do you mean young master, I'm doing my duties."
"You know I don't like eating alone, not to mention I told you to call me by my name."
Peggy closes her eyes, "as you wish." She takes a sit next to him. "Yama."
He smiles at Peggy, "so, what do I have plan for today."
"As the Spirit king you will be holding an assembly on the restriction on dimensional travel, you'll also be meeting with several generals before your final audience with the Sol Emperor."
Yama wipe his mouth with the napkin, "you mean my father."
"Yes, Yama." Peggy conforms neck jolts, turning.
After giving a prepared speech on the new restriction on dimensional travel Peggy leads Yama to the next meeting. Grabbing a gem from the collar she tosses it to the ground, the gem liquefied, expanding. Once it hardens both Yama and Peggy step on, the now expanded gem resemble that of a saucer. It flies them from town, heading back to the castle.
Yama sighs, gazing at the other being as they go on with their existence, wondering if they know just how cage they really are, or how much freedom they squander with their daily action. A cry out distracts him from his thoughts, his head nap towards the direction, Peggy didn't move for she had already seen the person.
With the bottom haft of a lion, head and wing of an eagle, and the claw of a wyverns, the creature flies with haste, finally landing on the saucer. Peggy head cocks to the side, her large eyes capture the entirety of the griffin in view. Yama quickly addresses her.
"It's okay Peggy, Fi means no harm, just continue on."
As the sole Guard of the Spirit King, Peggy takes her duties very seriously, she nods, turning to focus her attention elsewhere.
"Fi what are you doing here, why are you so in a hurry, I thought you were visiting Olympus,"
The spoke clear, "I did, I was at Olympus, but it was strange, there where whisper. Something is happening, you can fill it in the essences. Its subtle but it's there, that why I'm back to ask you."
Even though Fi a griffin, he doesn't have the pride or wisdom most griffin would have, he's a bit of a fraidy cat. Fi still has sense that keeps him out of harm's way, at time it does make him seems a bit paranoid.
"Fi, calm down, I'm sure there's nothing for you to be so worked up about, how bout you stay at the palace, I'll guarantee your stay."
The puffing of Fi feather subsides, beathing steady, he nods agreeing with Yama.
Once they reach the palace Fi was left with the servants, Peggy leads Yama to the meeting.
Waiting patiently at a round table are 8 figures, the 8 generals. Each general is a lord in their own right, everyone of they have been acknowledge by the emperor that has the ability to fulfill their designated role. Together they form the 8 pillars.
As Yama enters the room, Peggy respectfully bows to the 8 before leaving, she stands outside the door just as she did in the young master room. Waiting.
Yama takes the empty seat, the 8 generals also set down.
Yama clears his throat, this was the first time he had ever had to take to the 8 generals, usually this would be something his father would do. His mind drifts towards what Fi was staying earlier.
"Could something really be happening" he thought.
"Well generals, as you all may know, I've never had the pleasure of meeting all of you at once nor having a discussion. It mostly our beloved Sol emperor." Yama says with playful sarcasm.
The only general that Yama knows smirk at his words, feeling a little better, Yama continues.
"I don't have a speech for you'll nor a directive, and after this morning restriction I can see that something is happening. So, if any of you would care to inform me, please proceed."
One of the eight burst with laughter, with six wings spread from its back, beautiful feature that made it difficult to distinguish as male or female, bleached flowing white hair on top of tan bronze skin. Three eye gazes upon the young master.
The general spoke with an angelic voice, "Please forgive me young master, I just found your opening to be both honest and amusing."
Yama wave his hand, "it is alright Seraphim, it makes me feel at ease that someone found that to be enjoying."
Seraphim swipe a tear from his right eye, flicking it towards the floor, the tear burst to flame before extinguishing.
"Well, you are right young master, something is happening. You are not here to talk to us, we're here to talk to you, more precisely. We to tell you what's going to happen, you are to listen then leave, and then continue on with your day."
The room tension, heavy is the air, a bead of sweat rolls down Yama side.
"Young master the catalyst has been set, soon the Sol Emperor will declare war on the dark ones and all Brightwings shell descend upon them to claim glorious victory!"
Yama watch as vicious smile swipe across all 8 generals faces, as if this was something long anticipated, the though itself of such an event happening soon seem to fill them with ecstasy. They discuss several more subject at hand before ending the meeting.
