The news of Cornell's death took sometime to spread across the lands. Most people were surprised of his sudden death, mostly the people of Findara, but after learning that he was the cause of the war waged on Findara and also of his rebilling plans, nobody sympathized with him.
Even the people who were once supporting him before, celebrated his death. They began to realize how much they'd wronged the new king, it was because of him that their kingdom was saved from being taken by the enemies. No king had ever stepped into the battlefield by himself, but Hamon had done that, despite how much the people of Findara disregarded him.
However, since the main instigator of the rebellion had died, all the kingdoms who led their army to him quickly retreat back. Nevertheless, Hamon did not plan to let them off unpunished. He cut off any connections Findara had with the kingdoms, and also made sure there would be no supplies going to them from Findara.
