"Mmhm." Ara stirred in her sleep then slowly opened her eyes. The old brown wooden ceiling of the small log cabin had become a familiar sight to awaken to for the past few days they'd spent here. She tilted her head to the side of the small wooden bed she was laying on, but found it empty.
Hamon. She pushed herself off the bed to go and see where he was.
Ara and Hamon had fallen down the high cliff, she'd thought they'd die, but fortunately they fell into a flowing raging river below the cliff. Even with Hamon's deep sword wound and the poison running through his veins, he had held on to her tightly when she lost consciousness from the impact of the fall. This had saved her.
However, when she regained consciousness she found herself in that same small log cabin she'd once been to with Hamon before their wedding. Hamon had managed to teleport the both of them to the cabin.
