Ara had been unconscious for days now, whenever she tried to open her eyes, the piercing pain in her chest would intensify and it would make her black out again. It happened a couple of times, however during all those moments when she had been trying to wake up, she vaguely registered Hamon's firm grip on her hand. She didn't have to open her eyes to know that he'd remained steadfast by her side through every moment. It always seemed to soothe her heart knowing he was by her side the entire time, even if she couldn't see his face.
