Ara opened the carriage door and gestured to Hamon to enter, then she followed behind him before closing the carriage door. The guards could not insist on escorting them, they didn't want to risk to disrespect a soldier from a higher rank.
After a moment of hesitation, the guards soon opened the gate without a word. The carriage then drove out of the mansion. Ara sighed in relief, she turned her gaze to the relaxed Prince, who sat with his eyes closed as if he was having a good time. Ara couldn't help but ask,
"Are you comfortable?"
"More than ever." He remarked in a nonchalant tone.
The carriage somehow felt cramped with Hamon inside. Was it because of his broad shoulders and long legs?
