Ara remained locked up in her prison, her morning sickness had gotten worse lately. All her muscles ached from laying all day on the cold ground, they hardly fed her well in this dungeon.
Beyond the small window, she'd watch as the sun rise and fall several times. She had not yet regained her physical strength, it was as if with each passing day she got weaker and weaker.
Ara had thought that Cornell would come back to torture her again, but he hadn't returned to the dungeon ever since that day he had beaten her. Only Ellyn would occasionally come and taunt her, but then when Ara paid no heed to her and pretended to be sleeping, she would get tired and finally leave, but not until she left her warnings,
"You will die soon, I can't wait for the day Lord Cornell would finish you up!"
