As the sun set behind the horizon, Ara walked out of Caleb's house as Hamon had sent someone to bring her to an inn not far away in town. They would be staying there until they gathered their troops to return to the palace. They would have stayed in Caleb's place, but his house was not big enough to accommodate guests like them, and Ara wouldn't want them to impose on the small family, thus she gladly followed the man Hamon sent to take her to the inn.
Currently, she stood in front of an old wooden door of a room, where she was told Hamon was. She hesitated for awhile before raising her hand to knock on the door softly, his voice called from inside,
"Come in."
