The downpour continued heavily like there would be no stopping. Lightning strikes brightly followed by earth shaking thunder sounds. While in the queen's residence, Merona's mood soured as she had been eagerly awaiting the news of the crown Prince and his wife's death. It was past midnight, but there was no news yet. Moreover, it had been pouring heavily outside for hours now. It had been also hours since Favian had left to go and check on the situation.
Hera, who stood on one side noticed how the queen had been glancing towards the entrance every now and then, she spoke, "Your majesty, don't worry. I have sent two of your men to go and check the situation, they must be on their way back by now."
