Hamon's eyes darkened, she could have sworn she saw flames blazed in his red eyes, but it quickly left as it flashed, "I will still be king even if I didn't take another wife!" He assured through clenched teeth, he looked conflicted for a while then his expression turned firm as he added more calmly,
"I have sworn my loyalty to you at the altar, and I will say it again...if I Hamon ever takes another wife, let the heavens rain hell on me. And if the heavens don't rain hell, then you should poison me to my death, or torture me and make me a cripple to the extent I wouldn't be able to tend to the new wife."
"Hamon...!" Ara's eyes widened, completely dumbstruck by his words, though his words would seem somewhat funny she didn't find it so with the seriousness in his eyes.
