The next day as the warm morning sun rose up. Ara had decided to take Merek with her in case of anything. Not that she couldn't handle the second Prince herself, but she had to hide her fighting skills as Hamon had said.
Ara had summoned Merek and told him everything, but not entirely everything. She didn't tell him about Cassius's threat.
"His Highness is not going to like it if you don't tell him, My lady."
Ara nodded in agreement and continued, "Yes, am aware of that, but I wanted to attend seeing it was Prince Cassius who invited me himself, I have no reasons to refuse." She didn't reveal to him that the prince had invited her before and she had refused and that he'd sent the second invitation with a threat.
Merek slowly nodded, "I see..."
_That doesn't mean I won't tell His Highness, it's an order to report everything to him._ he said internally.
"When is the party?" He asked.
"It's tonight, I want you to be around."
