Back at the Boxton mansion, Jacob the butler had been facing hell and was so anxiously awaiting Ara's return. Ara had made arrangements for workers to decorate the Vollorbe square hall, she'd even spoken to the florist who'd deliver the flowers to the venue, but the man had sent a letter this afternoon saying they weren't available again.
But that wasn't all of it, all the workers decorating the venue had also left the work unfinished saying they were ordered to stop. A lot of people assigned had all backed out of the wedding preparations.
Soon after all that, a servant from the royal palace had come back to deliver another letter to the mansion. It was from the second Prince, the servant had said while giving the letter,
"Take this and pass it on to lady Ara. Tell her she couldn't refuse His Highness' orders to attend, she must come or face the consequences of her actions."
