The cursed town-
It wasn't even that early, the sun had yet to rise and the rooster had yet to crow. The villagers had already left for their work.
This land was truly unfortunate as it couldn't bear even a single string of grass. That's why, no one dared to keep goats, cows, and other animals who feed on grass. Only some roosters and chickens could be found in the town.
Children were sleeping peacefully, the women were either doing house chores or going out to work alongside the men. There can't be said there is no discrimination of gender, but it isn't as intense as one could think of.
Education was a pretty far topic here, even learning how to write simple words is amazing.
In this worse town, there exists a beautiful building that didn't match with other houses. Inside this house, was Noah.
He had woken up early and was looking outside the window. He had no emotion on his face as he felt everything in this world was boring.
"I want to see greenery."
He mumbled to himself. His eyes scanned everywhere but couldn't find any greenery. Not even pot plants were there.
"Now, it's time to begin project trees."
He nodded to himself.
First, trees were completely different from water. He can't just sway his hands and grow up trees. Second, he hadn't learned anything about life magic.
Life spells contain healing and support spells. There may be one or two of these spells but it wouldn't be that much level that could support the growth of plants.
At least, a tier 3 or 4 magic spell is needed even to grow a single grass.
"I don't think compost manure could help. If even magic can't help, we can't think of other things. So..."
He thought deeply. There weren't any ideas popping.
"Magic..."
Only one idea came, but he didn't know if others had tried it or not.
"Anyway, let's try it."
He headed out.
He walked in the unpaved streets. In the rainy season, the road would surely be mudSome pits had had a higher chance to be a puddle.
Random rocks were scattered around. Fortunately, there were no vehicles, or news of accidents would spread often.
He arrived near a house that looked completely different from the others. It wasn't as beautiful as his house, but it looked like a gem in the piles of stones.
There was no soldier at the gate, and it gave off the feeling of normal. He knocked on the door. A maid opened the door and exclaimed when she saw Noah.
"L-.rd.. Please come in. "
Noah walked inside. The maid whispered to other maids and rushed toward Noah. "I will call the master immediately, please wait a moment." Her voice was soft, neither loud nor soft. Every bit of the words was filled with politeness and respect.
Not long after, a maid brought a cup of tea to Noah. And mayor also rushed down.
"Please pardon me, lord." The maid bowed slightly.
"Sit." Noah didn't speak more than necessary.
"Y-Yes."
As the mayor sat down, Noah took a sip of the tea. He nodded in satisfaction as the quality of the tea wasn't bad.
"I want you to order a carriage full of fertile soil."
"Huh?" Mayor's face was full of question marks.
'Soil? Fertile soil? For what?' He couldn't help but blink his eyes and looked dumbfounded. He coughed a bit.
"Lord, if I may, can I ask why you need the soil? And, if you would provide me the funds...or I need to use mine?" The lord couldn't help but ask. Ordering soil may not cost much money, but transportation cost wasn't a joke.
Its cost would be a hundred times bigger than of soil itself. It didn't look like it was worth it.
"I will give you the money, just execute my orders."
"O-Ok. But, if I cross my boundary. Can I provide you with a piece of advice."
"Ok."
"If you think of using the soil to grow vegetables, then that would be a waste. There had been a time when the entire field was covered in different soils. Those soils were as fertile as one could find. But despite that, not a single crop grew."
"Don't worry." Noah finished the tea and stand. The mayor also stood and accompanied Noah to the door.
While the mayor didn't want to waste money, he also didn't want to offend Noah. Even though the money wasn't his, his heart ached to see a lot of money being wasted.
He just wished what Noah bought should be worth the money.
After some days, Noah received the cash sent by Silv. The money would have been full of carriage if it was sent as gold coins. But, the coins sent here were diamond coins, one level higher than platinum and two levels higher than gold coins.
The millions of coins were only 1000 diamond coins.
The carriage full of hundreds of sags of soil was also sent the very same day. Noah was bored of magic since there were no higher-tier magic spells. He was fed up with the magic spells around him.
After receiving the sag, he decided to use them differently.
In one of the unused rooms in the mansion, Noah filled the floor with soil. After getting everything ready, he raised his hands.
"Let's try a small experiment."
