When Scorpion discovered how successful the first signing was, he persuaded Kon to temporarily take over Osy's businesses until he regains consciousness.
Though Kon was reluctant to do so, he had to do so for Osy's sake.
“God.” Kon plopped down on the new cushion Scorpion placed in the private ward.
“How was it?” Scorpion poured some water into a glass and passed it to him.
“It was stressful. I had to resist the urge to put a hole through their skull.” Kon loosened the tie he was putting on. “Cancel all the plans I have tomorrow. I will stay here and take care of Osy for the day.”
“But—”
“I want no objections, Scorpion. Just do as you were asked.” Kon shot a glare at him. “I've gone around this city for a week now. Don't you think I need my rest?” Kon gulped down the entire glass of water Scorpion poured for him.
