Kon got ready for the meeting. He wore dark blue jeans, which he paired off with a loose black polo the devil got for him.
He gelled his hair to the side and put on his sunglasses before he turned to check his reflection in the mirror.
“Mom, I want to go with you,” Toto whined.
She has been going at it since the moment Kon started dressing for the outing he has with the devil.
Not that he knows where they were going.
“No, will do, Toto. Your father said it's an important meeting. I don't think children are allowed.” Kon took a squat in front of her.
“I'm not a kid, any more. I'm eleven! And soon I will become a teenager.” She folded her arms and turned her mouth up in a frown.
“But that doesn't mean you are not my kid.” Kon touched her hair. “You are my favourite, Toto. And you know I will take you anywhere I go. But now, I don't think it's a good idea to take you with us. Stay back here, and have a good time with your aunt.”
