“I'm sorry.” The devil circled his hand around Kon's waist and placed his head on his shoulder. “I wanted to tell you about Toto before she arrives, but it was obvious my sister had another plan for me.”
“It's okay.” Kon nodded. “You don't have to apologize.” He glanced at the door, half expecting Toro to barge in.
It took the devil and his sister, to separate Toto from him.
“Are you okay with being his mother?” The devil asked with a hopeful expression.
Kon scoffed.
He removed the devil's hand around him and turned to face the devil.
“I don't know what you hope to gain by all this.” He folded his arms and glared at the Devil. “I'm only here to pay off my debts, and not to play house with you.”
“I'm not trying to play—”
“Then, what's all this?” Kon chuckled sadly. “If you badly need a mother for your daughter, then, get the real mother. I'm too young to be shackled with a kid who I'm only 8 years older than!”
“Age doesn't matter, Kon.”
