Bianca’s grandma’s name was Virginia Lawrence.
Virginia was soon taken to the operating room. Bianca came to the room with Grace’s card and returned the card to Grace.
“You can use the card for some time. After the operation, your grandma will need medicines and nutritious food to recover.” Grace said. She trusted Bianca and knew that she wouldn’t misuse the card.
“I, Ok. Thank you, Miss Grace.” Bianca said. Bianca knew that she couldn’t afford medicines so she shamelessly kept the card. She had no other options. She kept her head down.
Grace nodded at Bianca and held her over the arms to support her.
“Ouch.” Bianca hissed with pain.
Grace quickly let go of her arms.
“What happened?” Grace asked.
“Oh. Nothing. I just donated some blood. So, it is still hurting a little.” Bianca said weakly.
“Blood?” Grace asked with confusion.
Seeing Grace so confused, Bianca decided to explain the situation to her.
