Everyone was very happy at Samuel’s side because Grace had agreed to the engagement. Samuel was still busy with his work and projects.
Mama Bryant was the most excited. She wanted Samuel to have a girlfriend and marry her but Samuel never dated anyone. In their families, boys and girls got engaged pretty quickly. The engagement was a symbol of marriage in the hidden families and these engagements were rarely broken. Most of the engaged couples get married shortly after but they aren’t much pressurized after getting engaged. Some of the couples already had children when they reached their mid-twenties.
So, Mama Bryant was very anxious for Samuel because he hadn’t found the one. But now that Samuel had introduced Grace to them, Mama Bryant was all over the moon. She was very happy and couldn’t wait for the engagement to happen.
