Grace was in a deep thought after Jayden left.
Even though Jayden was the future bigshot, she was too quick to think that he would be on her side. She didn’t consider the fact that Jayden might not be like Bianca. Bianca is too naïve and innocent so she trusts Grace without a doubt.
But it might not be the same for Jayden. Jayden went from a normal middle-class person to a billionaire in a very short time. If he was as trusting as Bianca, he would’ve been sold out by others in no time.
It seems like this person would not be easy to rope in. Grace also sensed that Jayden didn’t like her particularly. He didn’t seem to respect her.
Grace wasn’t sure if he would ever respect her. And Grace never tolerated anyone looking down at her. She wouldn’t work with someone who doesn’t respect her. Anyway, he would get an investment from someone else according to the novel.
