“What?” Grace said as she watched Samuel staring at her.
Grace was 99% sure that Samuel would reject her proposal, but she still had 1% hope from him.
Samuel was in deep thought.
He was analyzing the pros and cons of the situation. If he got engaged to Grace, he would not be disturbed by his mom every day. But if he agreed, even though it is fake, it will still be considered an engagement by other people.
Grace was getting nervous as time passed.
Finally, after Grace stared at the green pot of flowers ahead of her for almost 10 minutes, Samuel cleared his throat. Grace’s focus went to Samuel again.
“Hm. I have thought about it, Miss Grace.” Samuel said as he looked at Grace, who was wearing a nervous expression on her face.
“Then at what conclusion did you reach?”
“Oh. I agree with your condition, but I too have some conditions.”
“No problem,” Grace said with excitement, and she immediately had a big smile plastered on her face.
