Bianca wanted to stop them but could only watch as Jacob left with Grace. Bianca was happy to find her family but Grace had provided her support and warmth when she needed the most.
She also knew that her family wasn’t very accepting of Grace and their attitude was completely different. Her family was very good with her grandma but they didn’t seem to like Grace.
She could only try to convince her family that Grace wasn’t a bad person.
On the other side, Grace left with Jacob. Grace had a bad feeling about the Swift family.
They walked out of the cabin silently. Before reaching the elevator, Jacob stopped walking.
Grace turned back and looked at him in confusion.
“Miss Grace, although we don’t know why you helped our sister, we are grateful for your help.” Jacob opened his mouth staring at her.
“That’s strange. I don’t see gratitude in your or your family’s face.” Without wanting to lose Grace stared back at him and gave him a polite smile.
