Chapter 15 - You dare call me a whore

“What are you talking about?” He took a step back as if shocked by the words I said.

“You heard me right, Gun. You don't care about me. Just let me go to the party.”

“And I'm telling you this, you are not going anywhere dressed like a whore!”

“A whore? You dare call me a whore when you know I'm—”

“I didn't call you a whore. Please don't misunderstand. I only said you are dressed like a whore. I didn't call you a whore!”

“It's the same. I don't care whether you called me that or not, I'm leaving!” I turned to go, but he held my hand and stopped me from leaving.

“Let go of my hand, this instant!” I narrow my eyes to slits.

“Baby boy—”

“Don't you dare, baby boy me. Just let me go!”

“And I said I'm not doing that! I'm not letting you go until you go up there and change out of those revealing clothes.”

“It's my body, and not yours, Gun. I'm the one who says what goes on with it. You can't control me any more. I'm eighteen, for God's sake! I'm not a kid any more.”

“A kid any more? You are still my baby boy.”

“° Your baby boy?” I scoffed, “I'm not going to be your baby any more when I finally find a boyfriend. I will be his baby.”

“A boyfriend?” Brother sounded shocked. “What do you mean by that?”

“I'm going out there to meet a boyfriend. Do you think I will remain here with you? You've got to be kidding me.”

“What are you talking about, baby boy?” He seemed close to tears as he asked.

And just by the expression on his face, I felt guilty of what I'm doing.

However, this is for the Best. Should brother not tell me of his so-called love for me, I will leave this house, forever.

Or maybe, not.

However, my affection for him will dwindle until there's nothing left.

“I'm not eighteen, and I've never got a boyfriend. I need to know how it feels to have someone who loves you and is always there to comfort you.”

“And you think I'm not that person? Hell, I've been with you since our parents got married. And I've cherished you more than anything else. I do the things I know will please you. And I try to make you happy as much as I can.

Tell me, baby boy, didn't I try in all that?

“Yes, you did. You tried to make me happy. But that's not the case. You are just a brother to me. Of course, you will love and cherish me.

But that's not what I want. I need a boyfriend and not a brother! Those are two different things.”

“And that's why you are going out dressed like that? Are you asking for a hookup or relationship?”

“Hmm.” I place a hand under my jaws as if I'm contemplating his questions, “who knows if I don't find a boyfriend, I can take the next best thing.

So, if a hookup is the only one available, then it will be.

Who am I not to say no to hot sex with another—”

I didn't get to complete my words before my brother kissed him.

His kiss wasn't soft. It was possessive and hell.

And the kiss left me panting as hell when he broke the kiss.

“Never you talk about being with another man in my presence. You got that, baby boy?” He touched my cheeks.

“What are you talking about?” I pushed him when all I wanted was to lean on him.

“I—”

“Why did you kiss me?” I narrow my eyes at him.

“I'm sorry, baby boy. I just don't want to hear you talk of other men in my presence.”

"Why?” I fold my arms, and that caused the short top I was putting on, to ride up.

“I— Shit!” He tugged his hair. “I'm sorry, baby boy— I just don't want to see you with another man.”

“You—” I arched a brow, “do you like me?”

“No! I mean—” He turned his back to me.

Oh, my.

I resisted the urge to squeal in happiness.

Jane was right.

Brother does have feelings for me. However, he's trying to hide those damn feelings from me.

“I'm—”

“Please don't go!” He whirled around so fast, it seemed like he might fall.

“Go where?” I frown at him.

“What do you say?” He blinked as he tried to make sense of the words I spoke.

“I'm not going anywhere, Gun. I'll stay here, and celebrate my birthday with you.”

The first plan is out of the way.

And must I say, it was successful. It went just like Jane said it will.

“Oh,” brother smiled brightly. “Superb!”

“So, what did you make aside from the cake?”

“What of your friends? Won't they be worried when they don't see you?”

“Which friends?” I asked before I realized what he was asking about. “Oh, them? Don't worry, Jane is there to keep them occupied. I doubt they might even remember me.”

And that's true.

I doubt any of them, except for a choice few, know who I am.

“Oh,” brother smiled. “Come on, let's cut the cake.” He lightened the candles. “Wish on it, and blow the lights.” He smiled brightly.

I closed my eyes and wished to celebrate many more birthdays with my brother, as my lover, of course.

“What did you wish for?” He asked as I blew out the candles.

“It's a secret.” I winked at him, “kids like you shouldn't be privy to what goes through the adult minds.”

“Oh, my.” He chuckled, “I'm older than you, baby boy, and you know that.” He ruffled my hair.

“Hey! Stop that. You are not even that older than me!”

“Nine months is older!”

“And you are still in high school? Shame on you!”
