Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

"You're following me, Ri?" Leo asked, probing. He still acts normal even though there is an annoyance at his former sister-in-law.

Riana, the younger sister of Marsya--Leo's late wife--always interferes in his affairs. Even in personal matters, Riana always wants to know.

The girl in the stylish outfit sighed and without permission sat down in front of Leo's oversized desk. He glared at the man.

"I accidentally followed you, Leo. This morning, I purposely came to your house, just to visit my nephew. But, people said your house had left early in the morning," Riana explained, making Leo silent.

The man does have a calm demeanor when faced with a problem unless the problem is out of bounds.

Meanwhile, Riana is the type of woman who is hasty and ambitious. He always makes decisions without thinking. I don't know if it hurts him or not. One thing is for sure, Riana must get what she wants.

"What I wonder is, do schoolchildren leave so early? Whereas they usually go to class at 8 o'clock. You think I'm stupid, Leo?" Riana asked, still with a sharp and piercing gaze.

Leo stared at the girl flatly while leaning his back.

"Then, what's the problem? We only left in the morning. It's not against the law, Ri," Leo said making Riana flinch and embarrassed.

However, it's not Riana who just gives in. While Marsya was alive, she did not want to lose.

"Leo, you met another girl, right? You forgot your promise to my sister?!" Riana stood up with her hands clenched into fists. Her face started to turn red with anger.

Leo let out a long sigh, then he shrugged with a cold face. Riana stared at him flatly. He was sick of his former sister in law behavior.

"I don't forget, Ri. Even I was loyal to him until he died. I approached other women, it doesn't mean I'm unfaithful. Loyalty can only be separated by life, Ri. Ben needs a mother frame. Even if I marry again, it doesn't mean I betrayed Marsya. Your sister has a special place in my heart," Leo said at length, trying to make Riana understand.

However, all of Leo's defenses will not destroy what has been planted in Riana's heart. He is not sincere if Leo has to marry another woman.

Riana smirked, then snorted while looking at Leo seriously.

"Listen, Leo. As long as I'm alive I won't let you marry another woman. If that happens, I'll take Ben!" threatened Riana, then walked away without saying goodbye.

Leo shook his head, then let out a long sigh. Occasionally massage the temples that throb. He only met Emely briefly, but Riana was already that angry. At this rate, he would be a widow forever.

Fifteen minutes had William pacing restlessly in front of his desk. Occasional clicks come out of the mouth when looking at the watch on the wrist. His anxiety evaporated when the person he was waiting for came from behind the door.

"Sorry, Bro! Traffic jam!" exclaimed the man at a rapid pace.

William sighed harshly while retaining his trademark coldness.

"Since when have you been so slow, Peter?!" asked William, making the owner of the name frown.

"You're impatient. Besides, why are you ordering me to investigate the police? I'll be arrested first," cursed Peter, handing him a brown envelope.

William paid no heed to Peter's ongoing chatter. He opened the envelope and instantly a sinister grin escaped William's lips.

"Good job, Peter! You will get a bonus from me."

Hearing that, Peter stopped nagging and his face lit up. A rare occasion when William gave him a plus if it wasn't really important.

"But first, approach a woman named Riana before." Peter's smile immediately faded.

He forgot if William is a person who is not easily satisfied with the work assigned to him. Too perfect, until sometimes Peter is overwhelmed by William. But, what can you do? William is still his brother.

"Who else is he?" asked Peter, curious.

Even though it's a task and it has its rewards, Peter must first know who he's up against. This is all done so that the man can take the right steps to deal with the person he will approach.

William didn't answer right away but smiled lopsidedly as he put down the photo from the brown envelope that Peter had brought with him. Instantly, the man sat down resignedly and ruffled his hair.

Peter thought William meant another woman. As it turned out, she was Riana who was included in William's own search list.

Seeing Peter's languid face, William laughed with satisfaction. It will be entertainment for him. It was rare for William to work on his brother.

"Come on, just enjoy it. You get free entertainment. It's enough to make him get carried away and match the information I need," said William, making Father weaker.

If he could choose, Peter would rather be assigned to cross the ocean than approach Riana. Because, there is a story that hurts Peter if he has to face Riana, again.

Emely was ready to go home with both hands holding Ben and Clara. The girl couldn't understand why she was stuck with such a complicated problem.

"Well, since Ben's father and Clara's father haven't come to pick us up yet, let's go home together again like yesterday, let's go!" asked Emely while walking with the two of them out of the schoolyard.

Ben and Clara were delighted. They thought they would be invited to eat chicken again like yesterday. However, Emily didn't mean to do that. After taking the two children home, Emely wanted to lock herself in her room, alone to think about how to solve the problem with William and Leo.

"Mom, Grandma said, Mrs. Emely is playing again at home. Later, Grandma wants to cook a special meal for Mrs. Emely," said Clara suddenly.

Emely, who was holding her two students, turned around with a confused look. He didn't even know what to say. Because his current mind was so complicated, even thinking was difficult.

"Mrs. Emely will make a good wife and mother," Ben said, surprising Emely.

How come? Ben who is not yet 7 years old can talk about the role of wife and mother without hesitation. Emely couldn't stop thinking and started to think strangely.

"Ben knows who those words are from?" asked Emely, reflexively.

"Father," replied the boy with a straight face.

Emily was getting more and more dumbfounded. He closed his eyes for a moment, then looked back at his two students in turn. This has to be straightened out. What if Leo gave a strange understanding, and then Ben caught it with a different meaning? He had to explain it to Ben again.

However, when Emely was about to speak, suddenly the car she recognized stopped right in front of Emely. The girl chuckled with disapproval. What about this?
