Looking at the sea of fire spreading before him, Dennis's expression became very solemn. Although such an attack was not a threat to a grand wizard, it would probably leave no chance of survival for an ordinary formal mage.
The wizards from the Alchemy Association couldn't help showing a look of horror on their faces. Their aggressive intentions to confront Lynn about his theories had considerably softened in an instant.
Rafael remembered that he had once seen a kind of alchemical powder that would explode upon contact with fire, but it was nowhere near this destructive.
"This is black gunpowder. I've used it to destroy half of a harbor city," Lynn explained before anyone could ask and then shook his head. "It's just a pity..."
"A pity about what?" Rafael quickly asked. "Could it be that the production cost is too high?"
