Having sorted out the zodiac coin designs, Feng Yi made a trip to the zoo to check on "Little Koi Carp," the reticulated python he had sponsored.
The little guy was a voracious eater and had grown slightly larger than other hatchlings of the same period.
The staff at the zoo's reptile house were surprised. By all accounts, Feng Yi had visited the zoo so few times, he could count them on one hand, and each visit was followed by his absence for many days, a frequency not enough for the little python to remember his scent.
Yet, every time Feng Yi came by, the little python acted as if it recognized him, immediately slithering over from its corner where it had been sleeping. If the cage was open, it would curl around Feng Yi's hand as if showing affection.
This turned the reptile house staff's common knowledge on its head.
