Feng Yi asked someone beside him, "Why are they here? Didn't they say they salvage once a week? I just saw them two days ago. Why are they here again today?"
A student beside him explained, "There's an unusual situation here. My teacher asked them to come over to assist with sampling – they've got a manned submersible. I heard this volunteer organization is backed by big bosses. They have lots of money."
Speaking of which, he looked at the submersible with envy.
They also wanted to take a look at that mysterious "barrier" on the seabed.
But Feng Yi's focus wasn't on that. He saw something familiar.
