Neal took a sip from his morning coffee. He had this straight expression plastered onto him, like you wouldn't want to mess with him so early in the morning. One thing that made him annoyed was, the mafia man was already making a move without him.
Knox clearly told him that they were in this together and yet here he was. He slept so peacefully while the man was already out gathering clues. Well, Matthew already told him not to worry since Knox is the kind of person who would not slip any small details about this case.
He rubbed his head and sighed. Thinking that it was his fault for suddenly falling asleep last night. Now he wanted to talk to Jayson and apologized.
Matthew came out of the kitchen, putting bread in front of the vampire. Neal lifted his chin and gazed at him with a confused expression.
"What's the bread for?" he asked.
