With her raging eyes, she told Claire. "I will not run away and leave you!"
Nyra raised the iron bar and swung it in the air. Those rogans got thrown away. Claire was surprised by the sudden strength she saw. She thought that her friend didn't have the will to do that.
Because Nyra was the kind of girl who wanted to stay at the back of everything. She's that calm and composed.
"Can you stand up?"
Claire jolted and tilted her head up, nodding back. Before she could grab that empty container for support, Nyra quickly held her up.
"Nyra, I'm fine." she mumbled.
"You are not fine at all," Nyra said. "Your ankle is not good. We need to go outside. I know those people are going to help us."
She was determined because Neal told him that no matter what happened, they were going to come for them. Nyra wanted to believe. In situations like this, she didn't want to lose her hope.
She knew that outside, help would come. The only thing that matters to her now is to make Claire save.
