Looked down at the little dragon that looked around everywhere with big gem like eyes cozied up in his bosom, Kim Hyesun fell in a huge dilemma, and recalled what had just transpired.
As usual he had gotten this unusual feeling that he might be going around in circles while he was following the map. Hyesung in this very short while had even considered sharing his location to Jonghyun so that he might as well just come get him, but the sight of that debris filled river in which he was going to be mercilessly pushed stopped Hyesung by an inch every time.
'..Couldn't they choose a better place...? no what am I thinking?!'
After that by some weird luck Hyesung found himself stuck in a seemingly man made trap, but had fallen down on a soft bed with a large egg on it. Looking around the cave, which seemed like a home, with a fireplace (although he didn't understand why it was needed since it was already above 40 degrees and believed it to for aesthetic purposes), there was a full four poster bad with humongous amount of pillows and fluffy duvet between which sat a fiery orangish golden egg and had what seemed like a cozy kitchen, a sofa with a rug for foot rest.
The only problem seemed to be the broken cave wall of one side which even had supplies like bricks and cement next to it, ready to be fixed.
In this very cozily perfect room that seemed like a lone imperfection, and not to be a perfectionist or something but Hyesung believed that it was far more important to fix the wall then find a way to complete the quest.
So he did fix the wall.
With all the knowledge and experience he had acquired while on his punishment before the rift happened- that being working on a construction site of his company's newest skyrise building. It proved quite difficult considering the cave walls were uneven but Hyesung completed it very successfully.
After that he had taken a long relaxing bath built in the cave washed and dried his clothes and cooked a heart meal in the kitchen and ate it all with supreme satisfaction.
'Hehe, that's my reward for it.'
Hyesung had relaxed in a long time and he thus felt that the manual labour he had done right now was totally worth it.
While he was having a little afternoon tea while observing the egg he found a peice of paper seemingly like a manual sitting right above the fireplace. After reading it Hyesung almost spilled his tea. Apparently the egg in front of him wasn't just a egg, but a dragon egg. And it needed a temperature high enough to melt metal.
Hyesung understood the reason for fireplace.
He immediately ignited the fireplace and put the egg in it.
Then he finished his tea and slept on the very cushiony bed as deeply as a child.
On waking up he stretched lazily but found himself flabbergasted when he saw a black haired, mocha skinned women sitting on the sofa next to the fireplace. As if noticing that he was awake she turned to him and gave Hyesung a soft smile which made Hyesung freeze.
'She is that egg's mother.'
That was the conclusion Hyesung instinctually.
It was further confirmed he saw the ladies slit eyes yellow eyes similar to a reptile.
'But it's strange.'
Hyesung believed meeting a real dragon would have been scary but it wasn't that scary.
That's why Hyesung stood up and straightened himself as he walked up to her.
"...You are the dragon egg's mother, I believe."
The women smiled like a piece of expensive art at his inquiry.
"And you must be the benefactor who fixed the cave."
Hyesung felt slightly embarrassed but said nothing as he attempted to tidy his bed hair making the women smile more brightly.
Then she stood up and bowed towards him.
"Thank you."
It was simple yet felt powerful coming from. the dragon in front of him, making Hyesung's ear red as he straighten his shirt as he waved off her apology.
"..Why didn't you do it anyway? I-I just wonder- I mean it's an easy task for a dragon right?"
At his question the eyes of the majestic women in front of him dimmed.
"...this is what could be called a hologram in human's way, I have been long dead."
Hyesung instantly froze, unsure on how to react making the women chuckle. She the strode up gracefully towards Hyesung and help his hand as she gave him a warm smile.
"I hope you take care of our little ones for us, of course there will be a lot of benefits for you as well."
Before Hyesung could register her words, Hyesung watched as she looked back at the little egg with forlorn look in her eyes and then she dissipated in tiny dust particled that seemed to embrace the eggs all over.
"..."
'Did I just become a father?'
That was all Hyesung could think but soon the buzzing notifications on his phone attracted his attention, looking down at it Hyesung was dumbfounded.

'And I am a rich Daddy.'
Hyesung didn't have much time to explore more on what he had acquired as he heard something crack. Looking around his eyes then landed on the little egg in fireplace.
"Oh no it's cracking."
Hyesung exclaimed as he hurriedly brought a rag from the kitchen and picked the egg and hurriedly placed it over the bed.
Soon a orangish golden dragon popped out of the egg.
Looking at the little thing that was currently the size of average sized puppy Hyesung's heart warmed.
He held it in his arms and brought it for a little bath since he was a bit of a gooey mess and gently cleaned it and dried it then bundled him up in the towel and sat down on the sofa near the fireplace as he wondered what should he feed the little one in his arms.
"...will he eat raw meat?"
"I want it seasoned."
"HOLY SH- OMG"
Looking at the bright eyed innocent looking dragon who was looking straight at him Hyesung shivered.
"How can you speak so early? no wait do you even understand what seasoned is?"
The dragon blinked it's eyes cutely as he tilted his head in a dumb yet still somehow cute way.
"I am a dragon."
"..."
'Seems fair.'
Hyesung then looked quietly at the little dragon in his arms.
"What's your name little dragon."
Hyesung felt the dragon in his arms flinch at his words, he watched it's gem like eyes shake a little then become firm again.
"...you decide."
"..."
Hyesung looked at the serious expression on his face and nodded gently.
"Male, female or-"
"Male."
"Alright, give me a month's time"
"Acceptable"
Looking at the dignified expression on the little one's face Hyesung felt a little funny in his heart but remained straight faced.
..................
Entering the palace like structure underwater which was surprisingly breathable in Jihan felt a little stuffy in his heart as he remembered Jiho's watery eyes on their parting.
The tribe members had promised Jihan into helping Jiho to reach towards the main quest area on time, since they were still really guilty over not completing their end of promise.
'Whatever.'
The shitty rope followed Jiho as well and Jihan very forgivingly handed over it's ownership to Jiho.
"Huu."
Looking around at the sea and the castle like structure Jihan felt like he was enjoying some kind of luxurious scuba diving session.
"We are here."
Jihan looked back at Poseidon's avatar, Percy, who seemed to have Poseidon's sponsorship, Jihan wondered if he was a model before the rift.
The man had long flowing black hair that been dyed blur due to Poseidon going in and out of his body, he had a very defined body that was abundantly visible through his pure white luxury clothing.
'He seems even more ethereal underwater, while striding towards the palace like structure, almost as if he owns the place.'
While Jihan was lost in his thoughts, Percy looked back at him with slight indifference.
"This will be as far as I was asked to go, don't worry even after I have left you can continue breathing and move freely underwater for about 5 days max"
"Ah yes, Thank you for everything."
Percy nodded his head in acknowledgement and then soon swam away as gracefully as he had walked.
"So is this like lost city of Atlantis."
Jihan mused out loud as he looked at the magnificently exquisite white palace in front of him which seemed like it was carved out from one single massive piece of white marble.
"Please let the bloody apple be here."
Jihan muttered out loud as he leisurely walked up the steps towards the entrance of the palace enjoying the smooth and cool texture beneath his feet while suppressing the anticipation of a reader, wondering if that was what a a die hard fan felt like when he was about to discover the real life background and props of his favourite novel.
