"What's wrong? Is there something that you are not telling me?"
Xylon and Dena kept their mouths shut for a while, even trying to avoid their queen's gaze. However, Ruby urged them to answer by asking the same question.
"We can't tell you anything," Dena said hesitantly.
Ruby didn't say anything, but the look in her eyes made Dena feel uncomfortable. She almost spat out the secret she was hiding until Xylon covered her mouth with his hand.
"You will soon know, Your Majesty." Xylon took a few steps back, then pointed Ruby in the direction they were going. "They're waiting for you in the family room."
Ruby thought this was bizarre. She knew Matthew often met with Leland to oversee his education, but he never met Edda without her. But she began to doubt that and suspected her husband had been secretly meeting with Edda for the past few days.
But why would he do that?
