Ruby couldn't track her time while she was in Matthew's subconscious because the sun had never set in that place. The sun was always shining in the sky, although its light was obscured by clouds.
"What do you usually do to relieve your boredom?" asked Ruby to Matius as she watched the blizzard through the window.
Matius handed Ruby a hot chocolate and sat down in front of the fireplace. "I'm not sure. Maybe it's because I'm too used to being here, so I don't do anything unusual to relieve my boredom."
"He's lying. He's always trying to interrupt my thoughts when he's bored," Matthew accused, wanting to worsen the image of Matius in Ruby's eyes so that she wouldn't be attracted to him.
"How could I scream into your head when you blocked my voice in the first place?" Matius threw an empty cup at Matthew's face, but he caught it easily.
"Matthew." Ruby stroked her husband's face as he knelt before her. "Are you jealous of yourself?"
