Matthew carried Ruby in one arm while the other arm held his sword. Ruby thought her husband would have trouble moving while carrying her, but it turned out that her worries were unnecessary as Matthew was not bothered by her presence.
His hand was strong enough to carry a large demon beast, so he always felt his wife's body was as light as cotton. Although Ruby's presence would not slow Matthew's movements, he worried she would feel uncomfortable if he moved too fast later.
"Ruby, I can't promise I will be able to slow down my speed when dealing with the golden dragon." Matthew asked, "Are you sure you will be alright?"
His wife's health had been deteriorating these past few days, so he was afraid her body would not be able to keep up with his speed. Moreover, he would exchange attacks with the dragon.
