"Your Majesty, Sir Lucas's soldiers are already waiting for you," Holden told Matthew. "We're ready to go, Your Majesty."
Ruby yawned a few times while leaning her head against the cottage wall. She noticed Matthew talking to Holden from a distance; perhaps they were discussing the protection formation on the ship.
"Not enough sleep?" Liviana walked over to Ruby, then tossed the Queen of Veritas a thermos filled with coffee.
Ruby breathed a sigh of relief as the warmth traveled from the thermos to her palm, but she had no intention of opening the thermos. "I don't like coffee."
"Well, so do I. But, it's better to drink that shit rather than feel sleepy all day." Liviana opened the thermos lid and forced Ruby to take a small sip of coffee. "Besides, why were you sleep-deprived last night?"
