Holden closed the carriage door after Ruby and Matthew got into the carriage. When his eyes glanced at Ruby through the window, he was momentarily dazzled by her beauty that glowed like a diamond.
He knew Ruby was his queen and his King's wife, but Holden could not take his eyes off Ruby. The Queen was too dazzling for a man's eyes, and that fact made Holden worry about himself.
"Don't look too long," warned Matthew as he closed the carriage window so that no one else would be able to see his wife.
Matthew sighed and held his sore forehead. "I didn't expect the effect of the blood moon relic to be that strong. Now I have to guard my wife from the wild pigs."
Ruby tilted her head and smiled. "I'm sorry that I've caused you trouble."
Although she said so, Ruby did not show any guilt on her face. Deep in her heart, she secretly enjoyed Matthew's jealous behavior, which looked cute in her eyes.
