A few weeks ago, Edgar faced a life-and-death situation. He was trapped in the middle of an ocean filled with ferocious demon beasts.
Other people wouldn't be able to feel it, but Edgar could feel the vibrations under his feet, a sign that dozens of demon beasts were swimming under the ship. They were waiting for their prey to get desperate and jump into the ocean.
"We're going to die." A fisherman stood on the ship deck. His gaze looked blank, and he seemed so desperate.
He was just an ordinary human who was unable to fight the demon beasts, so he would rather jump into the ocean than wait for his death.
However, before he jumped off the ship, Edgar held his arm and said, "We still have a chance to live."
His words sounded like nonsense, but Edgar never lied. Even though he had no connection with those humans, he still could not let them die without doing something.
