Two hours after Doran sent the letter by the pigeon, he got the letter back. Doran looked at the letter for a few moments and hesitated to open it.
What if the contents of the letter were not convincing, and the organization decided to eliminate his sister's soul?
"Sir Doran, my wife would be dead if they had perished your sister's soul," reminded Matthew.
Doran gave Ruby a quick glance before sighing. "I know."
He also knew that fact, but his heart still felt worried. After calming his heart, Doran finally ventured to open the letter. His eyes moved quickly as he read the letter, making the people in the room feel anxious as well.
"They believe in me," reported Doran.
Ruby breathed a sigh of relief after hearing that sentence, while Matthew tightened his grip on his wife because he also felt slightly worried a while ago.
"However, they gave me an additional task," continued Doran.
"What is that?"
