"What do you want to talk about?" Matthew asked Oscar once Ruby and Lucas left the room.
At first, Oscar seemed hesitant to speak and even lowered his head. However, after sighing a few times, he finally said, "I want to ask you about something, Your Majesty."
"Just say what you want." Matthew emphasized, "You are my wife's brother, so of course I will try to grant your wish."
He shook his head lightly and said, "It's not a difficult request, but it might sound a bit immoral."
"Before this, I had asked Ruby to forget the Barnette Family's bad deeds so she could live a peaceful life. However, to tell you the truth, I still can't forget what they did to us until now." The smile on Oscar's face gradually faded, replaced by a cold stare. "After hearing Ruby's past story, I am even more unable to forget all the crimes they have committed against my sister."
