The room suddenly fell into silence. Ruby blinked her eyes slowly and stared at Matthew with a flat expression. She knew her husband sometimes had extreme thoughts, but she did not expect him to be able to harbor such an unorthodox thought.
"You want to kidnap him?" Ruby asked in a low voice.
Matthew nodded and smiled broadly at his wife. "Yes, I think that's the best option. What do you think?"
Ruby sighed. "If I forbid you, you would probably do it anyway, right?"
"Ouch. I didn't expect you to have such bad thoughts towards your husband."
"Matthew." Ruby spoke seriously, "Just do everything you think is the best for us."
They were in a race against time, so Ruby couldn't possibly face the problem too rigidly. After all, she was sure Matthew was not the type of person who would do something without weighing the good and bad results.
Ruby took Matthew's hands and then stroked his palm gently. "I believe in you, Matthew."
