Although Ruby tried hard to forget about the Moon Goddess' prophecy, her mind kept drifting in that direction. Since earlier, she had been chopping up the arbei cake on her plate but had no intention of eating it at all.
Her strange behavior made Matthew and her brothers feel confused. Matthew finally touched her hand and said, "What's wrong, Ruby? Has your appetite gone again? Or does the cake taste bad?"
Oscar replied, "Are you sick from exhaustion after practicing?"
Oscar glared at Matthew because he thought he had trained Ruby too hard to the point of exhaustion.
Before her husband and her brother quarrel over trivial matters, Ruby says, "I already feel full." She tried to smile brightly in front of them. "I'll eat this cake tomorrow."
Matthew, "I'll ask the soldier to buy a new cake tomorrow."
