People gasped in shock when they heard Alger's words. They did not expect him to bring a criminal into the courtroom. However, the law could not do anything because Maulvi came as a witness, so her identity would be kept secret, and no one could arrest her.
Ruby turned her head, and looked at Maulvi earnestly, and said, "I believe in you."
