"Are you ready?" asked Matthew. He had to make sure she was ready before he helped Ruby get undressed in front of people.
Ruby nodded confidently. "I am ready."
After hearing Ruby's words, Matthew helped his wife undress slowly.
As soon as Matthew lowered her clothes to her waist, he hugged Ruby's body so that others would not be able to see any part of her body other than her back.
It was at this moment that they could hear a commotion in the courtroom. People could see the lash wounds vividly, making all of them grimace because they did not expect a petite woman like Ruby to have that many wounds on her body.
Even a soldier rarely had as many scars as Ruby.
