Marlene's trauma must have been so horrible that she was unable to trust anyone other than Maulvi.
Since she came into her room, Marlene always curled up in a corner without intending to move anywhere else. She hugged herself and buried her face in her knees.
No matter how many times Maulvi tried to persuade Marlene to lie down on the bed, she wouldn't listen to her words.
"Maulvi, can I see Marlene for a second?"
After hearing Ruby's voice from behind the door, Maulvi immediately turned her head toward the door. She briefly glanced at Marlene before finally opening the door to the room. "I'm sorry, Your Majesty, but I don't think my sister wants anyone near her."
Maulvi walked out of the room and closed the door, so Marlene could not see the people standing outside her room.
"Is she talking to you?" Ruby softened the intonation of her voice as she saw the deep blue color that enveloped Maulvi's heart.
