The journey from Trigas City to Veles took about an hour by horse. The road they had to travel was steep and rocky, so Ruby could not use the horse carriage.
Matthew wrapped his left arm around Ruby's waist, keeping her from falling off the horse when the road was bumpy.
"Should I learn to ride a horse?" Ruby leaned her back against Matthew's chest and lifted her head. "It seems like I'm always giving you a hard time whenever we have to go by horse."
Matthew, "I'm not bothered at all."
Ruby sighed harshly; she had expected Matthew to reply with such words. "If you won't teach me, do I have to ask Sir Xylon to teach me how to ride a horse?"
Without thinking further, Matthew immediately replied, "I'll do it."
Ruby smiled with satisfaction as she managed to get Matthew to comply with her wishes. Besides, Ruby also knew Matthew was unhappy whenever he smelled another man's scent on Ruby's body.
