"Livi!" Ruby nudged Liviana's arm and whispered, "Don't say such impolite things in front of so many people."
Holden and Xylon were even standing very close to Ruby so that they could hear Liviana's words. However, the two royal knights turned their faces away and pretended not to hear anything.
Ruby coughed to break the awkward atmosphere and changed the topic. "Have you been able to interrogate Mr. Gorgon?"
Liviana nodded. "His protective magic is complicated, but I managed to crack it. I think he can be your first study material."
"You want me to manipulate Mr. Gorgon's mind?" Ruby glanced slightly at Matthew for his approval.
As Ruby expected, Matthew shook his head in response. "Ruby is pregnant, so she can't use too much magic energy."
Liviana waved her hand. "Don't worry. I'll channel my magic energy into her body. Ruby just needs to be the medium so that she can learn how to control her magic later."
