Ruby stirred the food on her plate languidly. She felt that she had no appetite after knowing that the disease in Veles City had spread to Trigas City.
Even though only Abell tested positive for the strange illness, it was possible that there would be another victim.
"Ruby, is the food not to your taste?" asked Matthew when he saw his wife had just put three spoons of food in her mouth.
Ruby shook her head. "The food is tasty. I'm just not in the mood to eat."
Matthew took over Ruby's plate, then cut the meat on her plate into small pieces. "Open your mouth."
Matthew brought the fork to Ruby's mouth, but she still insisted on covering her mouth and complained, "I don't feel like eating."
"You could get sick if you don't eat, Ruby."
Ruby put her head down on the table as she felt a bit tired. "I will eat if I feel hungry."
Matthew sighed, then asked the servant to take away the plates on the table. Currently, they were sitting in the dining room of the Cordell residence.
